I wonder if that was part of the "wine cellar" look because Adega translates meaning to wine cellar. We both ordered the portabella mushroom stuffed with crabmeat. When he finally came to "greet" us, he wasn't friendly at all. He didn't introduce himself, smile and barely talked. The very few words he spoke were in a rude tone, which made us feel uncomfortable because we were nothing but kind and polite to him even after all that. One of the guys came to clear the table and took the plate and utensils out of my hand as I was still taking my last bite. When we gave the waiter our certificate he almost didn't want to except it because he said I purchase years ago. The certificate doesn't even have an expiration date Honestly, I have never had a service like this in my entire life. There is an older gentleman that is a waiter and he seems to always give a hard time when we present the gift certificat... There is an older gentleman that is a waiter and he seems to always give a hard time when we present the gift certificate. We have been waited by him twice. I give the certificate at the end and he makes a big deal that we didn't give it in the beginning. However, we met all the conditions for using the certificate, meaning we ordered 2 entrees, not on a Friday or Saturday. He just seems to like to speak his mind about when the certificate should be given and I feel that it is inappropriate to argue with a customer when we met all the conditions and the only "issue" according to him is that we have to give it to him prior to ordering but when we did that one time we get a T-bone steak that was the smallest I have seen and it had a lot of fat on it. Since then we give it at the end because we feel the quality of the food is less than optimal when the waiter knows we have a certificate. Read more Read less
